Rara Avis

That Nemesis was cute but I like him dark and dirty.

I suppose I will just keep an eye out here for more news.

I gather that 3A are doing a decent job producing these figures with only minor complaints regarding quality (paint issues and movable parts becoming undone)?

Well clumsy bugger here, managed to knock Mortis off the shelf. Good news screw repair to left hand okay, hand stayed on bad news broke ankle peg :(

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.

Is the peg actually broken, or just loose? If they're like the arm pegs they may be separate units, probably glued in place? The wrist pegs of my 3a Dredd come out with the hands every time i change the hands.

You cannot kill what does not live ! It'll take more than a dive off the shelf anyway !

Looks like its snapped inside the ankle from the short length of the pin in the pic. You'd think it would take a lot of force to snap a peg like that, I've had the bond to the hip peg go but never seen a peg itself snap. Always time I know ! Gregory has said on the 3A forum that anyone who breaks pegs on him or Fear should contact customer services for help. I'd assume that would be replacement pegs but I'm a bugger for assuming and being wrong so who knows.

Cant hurt to try cs@threeaonline.com Filippo, good luck with it, they have been really good in my experience.

I'd like to see 3A do stands in a similar style to Mezco. For one its a great looking display for the figures which can get a bit lost on their own on a bookshelf. Also allows action poses via a footpeg/hole in the sole of the foot. 3A artic is really good now but your stuck firmly to both feet on the ground or a flight stand which spoils the looks a bit.

Tony Angelino

Mortis's glasses look far too big for him.

Dash Decent

Love the custom Johnny Alpha sneaker!  Have you got Wulf on the other one?

It was a clean snap but I repaired with a screw, will try contacting 3a next time anything snaps TheTooN.
Dash, that's my practice run at painting on canvas boots the other side's The Second Doctor.

Alpha's just at the underpinning stage.

I snapped one of those pegs when I tried to change one of his hands. They break quite easily. :-(
Dumb all over, a little ugly on the side.

I misread what you'd written and in concert with the photo had thought you'd somehow broken your ankle when Mortis got knocked off the shelf, and that was why the sneaker was on the table.

I never did hear back from 3A about the snapped pegs. One tube of superglue later and they seem to be holding up well.

Dash Decent

Thanks for the close-up, flip-r.  Alpha is looking good but that's a brilliant portrait of the Trout.

Dreddzilla

Anyone else dissapointed we won't be getting the blue 'Vintage' uniform Judge Dredd with exclusive Arbitrator shotgun? I'm pretty bummed out about it as that was the one figure I was really looking forward too.  :'(

Tony Angelino

I've always thought of the uniform as blue.

Mikey

The Dredd fig already released has a very dark blue uniform surely? And is the Apocalypse War one not obviously blue or am I misremembering?

The uniform will always be dark blue to me, despite knowing it was an effect on the art.
To tell the truth, you can all get screwed.

I've always thought of the uniform as blue.

It never was, though. It was always black. The blue tint, like Clark Kent's hair, was entirely an artefact of the limitations of printing 4-colour process on bog paper.
