I am curious about something that I have noticed in the Mek Files vol 1 -  the art of the last page of a lot of the episodes has been cropped at the bottom.

I was wondering why that was and if some-one more in the know on these things could explain?

I assume it is something to do with not having the next Prog tag lines, but to my admittedly layman's eyes, it seems unnecessary.

Still a lovely book though.

It's just the last panel of each page that's been tampered with. This is most obvious on the final page of Kevin O'Neill's Deadlock episode, where we lose a chunk of Deadlock's face.

It's to remove the Next Prog tag line. Happened in some of the Zenith reprints as well. As for the editorial reasoning behind it ... your guess is as good as mine.
