Yup, the next film in the Rambo Franchise will not be a sequel, but A remake. Who says Hollywood is out of good idea's?

This beggar's belief. Hollywood is undead for sure if they're trying to make this into a franchise. Who amongst the modern crop of actors could or would want to play Rambo?

I'm more curious (in a morbid way) how they modernize him for today's audiences. Do they have him broadcast his rampage via social media?

Do they nueter the cheracter and go PG-13 even though no one under 21 would have a clue or care who Rambo is?

Do they race change him so they can get Denzel Washington or Idris Elba to play him?

I could go on.

This gets made and still no Dredd 2?  :( :( :(
The Justice department has a good re-education programme-it's called five to ten in the cubes.

It's classic vampire- inject new blood into the withered corpse and it will live somehow. But that's the trouble with the undead, with vampires they're DEAD!. "No one went broke underestimating the tastes of the American public" and this confirms H L Mencken's infamous line.

Maybe Karl Urban should do this one and you may no why.

I dunno, it's a classic simple plot, readily updateable and not dependent on Stallone in particular in the title role. Seems like the sort of thing you could remake quite satisfyingly. Now if they got Sly to play the Dennehy or Truatman roles I'd probably buy a ticket...
