Comic Book Sales Figures for October 2016 - Estimated Comics Sold to North American Comics Shops as Reported by Diamond Comic Distributors.

Interesting reading - (tangentally) 2000AD-related stuff includes:
(ranking) 288     Judge Dredd Mega-City Zero Vol. 2     369 copies sold
(ranking) 370     Misty     287 copies sold
Both of the above in the graphic novels section, the lowest ranked item in the comics section is:
(ranking) 388     Knights of the Dinner Table     2,252 copies sold
Presumably whatever the monthly IDW Dredd sells via Diamond in the US is less than that.

They won't be allowed through. 2000ad is far too subversive for a Fascist state to handle. :P

Issue 10 sold 4,881 (est) in September 2016.

I can only say that it's getting harder to find 2000AD in local comic shops in the US.  Indeed, Prog 2000 hasn't even been distributed by Diamond yet and the latest date is 11/23/16, almost two months after the UK release.  I did notice that the local Barnes and Noble had a stack of the Megazine last month, but I don't know how it sold.

How the hell has it lasted 40 years in Britain then?

Are you not aware of Tharg's parliamentary connections? :P

Never pegged Tharg for a dodgy bugger!

Have you been blind to the way he treats his droids? :P

Delighted to see my guilty-pleasure Knights of the Dinner Table is shifting 2500 copies over there! As far as I know FP Dublin only gets the one copy for the shelf, and I usually snag that. Those don't seem like bad numbers for a strip that's basically 20 B&W pages of terrible cut'n'paste using the same amateurish character portraits for 25 years, backed with 40 pages of in-house RPG articles and letters pages. Great, and dare I say unique, stuff though. Although I suppose the Magazine came close at certain points in the 90s...

Sorry, after 7 years as a child at what must have been one of the dodgiest boarding schools in the country I should have made that connection!   ::)

O Lucky Stevie!

Given that Diamond have still yet to fill Stevie's LCS's pre-orders of Misty it is no surprise that they have only sold 276 copies.

on a related note, has anybody outside of the UK seen Steve MacManus's book through Diamond yet?

hey there stevie, i ordered the mighty one from fishpond .com.au and it was 15 bucks my good man.
also based in radelaide, got here fairly quick, think it was 2-3 weeks from memory.
(and then i read the whole thing from go to woe in one sitting. great book)
i don't trust diamond to deliver anything tooth related, and i'm sure you know that the LCS couldn't give a toss about it either. as long as they get their 300 copies of harley quinn related bollocks for the week, they're happy.
