That's all for now. The 2000AD notebook project is going to be a £1 a ticket raffle later in the week (after considered discussion in the 40th bash signing queues). Details to follow soon.

That will do me for signed items for a while. I'll see what happens at the London con in august. I think I missed a lot of the fun yesterday while standing in queues!

Cheers, m'dears.

Just as James Brown was the hardest working man in show-business, Eamonn you are the hardest-working man in 2000ad charity.

We salute you.

And will bid.

Eamonn Clarke

Thanks, Matthew. It was a bit exhausting and I didn't even get to the films or the booze!

Just to add that some of the items are 7 day and some 10 day auctions to help me stagger the posting but if you win one of the first tranche and have your eyes on something in the second then hold off paying for a few days and you might save me a little postage. Cheers

Bid on a few, if nothing else should help increase the price, sketch book over £100.00 now so should go for a few quid with 9days to go

Yeah very exciting to see some of those auctions really taking off already. I salute all your efforts Eamonn your efforts are to be  applauded.

Buttonman

Yes, well done Eamonn selfless of you to sacrifice your day to get things to help others. I feel guilty for going to talks and drinking now!

TordelBack

Incredible work Eamonn, the sheer numbers of signatures you managed is genuinely mind-boggling!  Tougher and tough!

Tony Angelino

Wasn't at the 40th but am really tempted by the Two Dredds print. It looks really well.

Having a fun day editing an upcoming episode with Mark Sexton talking about Charley's War and sorting through various progs for future signings, and found a copy of last year's FCBD prog signed at Orbital comics last May by Alec Worley, Hannah Berry, Dani Strips, Henry Flint (who supplies a Dredd doodle), & Matt Smith.

Here 'tis.

Yes. Little bit amazed by that myself but it was a limited edition.

Well, despite my best efforts the Dave Gibbons Rogue Trooper prog was sniped at the last second.  Escalating very rapidly to a civil but out of my reach £51 (well, if the wife found out I'd paid that much I'd have been for the high jump!).  Hope the lucky winner enjoys it (the git!)   ;)

All sold and posted, with the two subscribers' t-shirts as well this brings the total from the 40th festival auctions to a staggering £974.34 Thanks to everyone who took part.

And added with the £456 from the Notebook raffle that brings the running total raised for Cancer Research UK by the 2000AD community to a whopping:

£4961.51

Hopefully Free Comic Book Day will take that over the £5K mark at which point I really will be having a lie down with a damp prog on my forehead.  :o

Thanks to everyone who took part and all the Droids for signing and sketching.
