if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Mardroid

Thanks Emperor. A couple of GNs bought:

Nicholai Dante: The Great Game
Apart from the first GN and one of the Tsar Wars volumes, there's lots of the old Dante stuff I haven't read.

Caballistics Inc: Going Underground.
I actually have the second. I don't ususally buy out of order but I picked it up cheap on Mongoose a while back.

I was tempted to get the Slaine action figure too... but thought that might be a bit much...

maryanddavid

Wow, extremes for 50p, will have to get some of those for the kids.

SmallBlueThing

Excellent! Cabbies: Going Underground... which I thought was very rare, to be honest- and SiniDex: Eurocrash, for me. Looking forward to these arriving now!

Necronauts - if you have the Frazer Irving Collection then you might have ummed and ahhed about the Tharg's Terror Tales Presents collection because you've already got A Love Like Blood, well this is just Necronauts and it is a lovely book (those big glossy pages were born to have Frazer Irving's art all over them) that I thought was sold out long ago - you'll want this:

Argggggggg. This is my chance to fill in my two year gap*! Oh my god. Oh my god.  But it still gonna run me nearly a 100 US dollars for a single year's worth of Progs!

*well, technically three years. But I have all of 2008 digitally. But I just can't justify replacing an entire year of progs I've already read. Yet.

Still, I could not pass it up. So I've decided to fill in all of 2009. Even with shipping over 30 or 40 US dollars, it still comes out $160 cheaper had I bought all those comics at retail. Which is an insane steal. So... yeah. There's 100 bucks I probably shouldn't have spent exchanged for Progs.

If this sale runs to the end of January. I might make an attempt to fill in 2010 if I have any spare money at the end of the month. Does not seem very likely though.

I just hope all those comics make it through customs okay. Anyone ordered mass numbers of Progs via the 2000 AD store in the US? They turn up okay?

THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK

Hmm, some good bargains there on first glance, but after postage is added on it's not much of a saving vs Amazon Marketplace for the book I wanted.

Only worth it if you're making a large order.

mygrimmbrother

Just bagged 7 years' worth of end of year progs for £7 - now you just can't argue with that! Cheers for bringing that to my attention Emps  :)

Dandontdare

Just ordered another Johnny Hicklenton Nemesis T-shirt so that when my absolutest favouritest shirt finally wears out, I'll have a replacement ready!

Trout

I got a Slaine figure. My little boy has a T-Rex that's about the right size, so we will play Slaine Versus The Time Monster.

RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGHHHHHHH!

- Trout

Kerrin

26 Megs. Finally going to get up to date with the damn thing.

The postage is steep though so it's worth ordering a fat wodge of thrillpower.

Spaceghost

I've ordered ACE Trucking Vol 2, Complete Ro-Busters and Dante: Hell and High Water, a bargain, I thought, at £18.

Then I got to the postage and 'handling'; EIGHT QUID!? Is it being sent by frigging courier? I only live in Yorkshire. Christ... that's another argument with the wife...
