It was a great intro, establishing the series with more of a Dr. Who vibe than anything else I thought.

I really liked the opener to this new series, and was suitably impressed by the Coveney Droid.
Anything that evokes childhood memories of The Mutant melting the brains of PSI Division can only be good.

Didn't the Alienist get its launch in one of the specials? I seem to remember enjoying the idea quite a lot, just off the track worn by Ampney Crucis (amazing) and Dandridge (irritatingly enjoyable).
