Sounding good! (though I prefer Drokk...)

Going to try and hold off listening to too much until I see the film.

dracula1

Sounding Superb! . . . will def' buy this. Touches of Daft Punk's Tron and some hints of new metal-esk tracks akin to Linkin Parks stuff! :D

p.s. Hans Zimmerman and Drokk! my arse!  :-X

Goaty

I could says something to support it but soundtrack not my area, but if the songs was good or great choices, I am glad!

Just curious, which song is most usefully?

Michaelvk

Ooooh, now that's gone straight to the itunes want list..
You have never felt pain until you've trodden barefoot on an upturned lego brick..

Zanti Misfit

Nice! - I really think this kind of sparse electronica suits Dredd, (Thankfully, a million miles away from the overblown orchestral score of the '95 film) and though I can't wait to hear it in context, in all honesty, I still prefer the Drokk soundtrack.

Beaky Smoochies

Sounds appropriately sparse yet propulsive, but very cool, but the true test is how it sounds in context during the actual film, but considering the DNA Films people haven't put a single foot wrong on this film, I don't think there's any reason to doubt it's going to work like gangbusters... (looks at watch) is it not September 7th yet, hurry up, for the love of grud...
"When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fear the people there is LIBERTY!" - Thomas Jefferson.

"That government is best which governs least" - Thomas Jefferson.

blackmocco

The soundtrack will rip your head off and shite down your throat in the context of the movie. In a good way, of course. It defines the tone of the movie as much as any of the production...
"...and it was here in this blighted place, he learned to live again."

I, Cosh

Quick question before I click on the link. Does this album contain any track names to match the wonderfully spoilerific "Death of Qui-Gon Jinn" from The Phantom Menace soundtrack?

Nothing that spoilerific in my opinion-unless you know nothing about how the plot of Dredd pans out.

Some of it reminds me of the music from the 1993 Amiga game Hired Guns:

I'm not saying there's an influence or anything, it just reminded me.
