I know its a bit redundant considering the reprints in megazine, but would it be possible  to collect Sinister Dexter in the model of Case files and Mek files? #askingforafriend

Dear Tharg, please reprint Sinister Dexter in order, in colour, in big giant Compete Casefiles FactTotem volumes and I solemnly promise I will buy each and every one, even and possibly especially the ones you've done such a great job of collecting in the Magazine floppies.

I'd completely love this, but alas given that you can still get copies of the old reprints for bobins, the American floppies release didn't seem to do too well and its been resigned to Meg Floppie fodder means that I don't hold out any hope any time soon.

Its a crime.

I'd give it 8 years at least. Some floppie material (snicker) has transitioned over to full TPB (Deadlock, Death Planet) and even older HC's into specialist TPB's (XTINCT and Family bundled into the Sci-Fi Presents volume) so it might be awhile before we see Sin/Dex on the shelves of Waterstones again, more's the pity.

We have hope. Rebellion TPB lines are built on hope.

If it happens(and I really hope it will),can I be the first one to suggest the name Downlode Files? :)

Richard

Whatever it's called, it needs to include Downlode Tales. The last series of Sinister Dexter books missed them out, so it went straight from Sinister and Dexter falling out with each other at Demi Octavo's funeral to -- on the next page -- them being inexplicably back together again, having apparently killed all the bad guys. That must have been utterly bewildering to anyone who hadn't read the original progs. And to anyone who had read them, they must have felt cheated of their money, because it defeats the object if buying a graphic novel in the first place.
