I've only just discovered this thread - what a stunning visual feast! So much amazing artwork I had no idea was right under my nose! Why aren't you illustrating for the Prof itself...?!?

But you've seen, Does My Art Look Big In This, right?

And the attempts at the sample scripts?

Mentioning just in case. There's some real nice work there too....

so i decided to try my first mini comic just to get grasp of the process, script and layouts are mostly done and now i am trying to decide the art style. what you thing about this?

its a combination of -hard black line > flat colours > first shadow  pass multiply layer) > second shadow pass with same color (multiply layer) > higlights  > overall gradients  > bit of color dodge as a final pass (usage depends on picture content and mood)

I am still not 100% sold  so any opinion will help. Should i go more traditional way (blocked out shadows /crosshatching , or colors without gradients and with one layer of shadows only ( as i have things in the past?

Or you think this will work as long i tied up my drawings and anatomy ?

any opinion welcome! cheers guys.

I confess, as I had just discovered both threads I was only looking at the artwork - even then I haven't worked my way through the entirety of both threads. I should've read more about them - and I will do.

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.

Oh, that's good.

I recognised him straight away. (Although I was coincidentally talking about Frank and Fisk on another thread...)

Nice Fungus! You really caught Moore's likeness there!

Seconded.  Love the squiggly-pen style too

Lovely work, everyone. Love that Moore, Fungus. The scribbly lines are superb! Here's some Saturday Zombie / Monsters or whatevs.  :D
