I enjoyed it, but it was interesting to see many people sickened by Dredd's 'gore factor' revelling in far worse in Deadpool. As for the director leaving, that's not good. Deadpool was, on the whole, really well directed.

Seriously? Who were these people? Because I never heard about anyoje complaining about the gore in Dredd at least here stateside.

I'm glad Deadpool did well with an R 17 rating. It gives hope to other hardcore projects including another R 17 Dredd Film/TV series. It had very dark humour, some satire, indeed it satirized the whole Superhero genre and that satirical edge we enjoy so much in the J D Comics was rather underplayed in the Dredd movie IMHO.
