I vividly remember the competition where you had to spot giant ants hidden in all the other strips in the prog (and a similar one to spot x-wing fighters for a star wars comp) - I wonder if these made it into any reprints? There may be readers who have been puzzled why there's an ant in the corner of their Dredd panel, or an X-wing behind a dinosaur in Flesh!

After some cursory further Googling I've discovered that Fleetway / Quality have reprinted more than my wildest nightmares could have imagined:

Wireheads (https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=163601) Two new covers?
Trash (https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=260351)
Red Razors (https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=268621) Never seen two of those covers before.
Junker (https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=21743453) One for Zenarcade to spend hours looking for on Ebay...
Below Zero (https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=159901)
Mark Millar's Robo-Hunter (https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=159901)

Wow! Never has the word 'quality' been so abused

Aaaaaaah. I wondered why CW Moonie(?) appears to trip over an X-wing toy while running away from Dredd in the Luna-1 stories! And that's in the Case Files, so I'd guess it's in most other reprints!

I knew I remembered someone asking this very question.

I had forgotten it was me...

Firstly, it's an absolutely beautifully put-together package and if the rest of the series are up to the same standard then I'll be buying the lot.
...
I do have a couple of questions which some of you might be able to answer.

1. Why the hell is there an X-Wing fighter in the middle of one of the stories?
We never really die.

I love Ant Wars!  :-\

Yeah I've just re-read it and have been raving about it elsewhere on this forum. Such fun and for me by far Gerry Finley-Days best work for 2000ad...

..yes I said that and I meant it too!

Good list just wanted to mention that Vanguard came out as a hard copy GN published by Rebellion a few years back now

Writer of SENTINEL, the best little indie out there

Magnetica

Has Rick Random been reprinted?

I have most of the Progs it appeared in, but with a couple missing in the middle. Despite that it still made perfect sense 😄

maryanddavid

Rick was reprinted in  Quality comics 2000AD Showcase.

Steve's now Art Director at - I kid you not - the London studio of Industrial Light & Magic, and has worked on the vfx of many, many big movies.

The lad done well for himself...
And Tooth gets a mention on Steve's ILM profile page.

Rick Random was also reprinted in its entirety in Best of 86, along with the second half of 'Slaying of Slade', fact fans.
