Hooray for Pete Wells.

01. 363 - Phil Winslade. Lovely cover for a great story. Just has a really strong feel to it which helps it stand out against the others.

02. 359 - Siku. It's Siku and it's got MC1 suggested in big red blood smears all over the background and it's Siku.

03. 364 - Carlos Ezquerra. Nice way of showing us through the keyhole of the story inside.
We never really die.

ONE POINT to 361, by Greg Staples. Because when I was twelve I wondered what it would look like if Brian Bolland could paint like Leonardo Da Vinci. Okay, Simon Bisley.

TWO POINTS to 366, by Colin MacNeil of Scotland. Ben Willsher can give the bike an update, but Carlos and Colin make it look brand new. MacNeil has a long history of painting the future, but who guessed he'd turn into a Futurist - that bike looks like a snowplough, or a wood plane slicing through a 2x4.

THREE POINTS to 362, Scottish artist Alex Ronald's superb rendering of whatever the hell is happening there, to whoever it's happening to. One day Tharg will decide to completely pander to Ronald's strengths, and commission him to paint a cover with the strapline HERSHEY: THE NAKED AND THE DEAD. Better include a subheader about light too, because Alex transforms that old cliche about painting with light into literal truth.
