Sadly no Saturday Prog-age at Clarke towers but here's Tiernen Trevallion's cover courtesy of the @2000AD tweet droid.

A Prog free Saturday is a sad thing.

In contrast I think it's absolutely brilliant. I love it when the TT Droid draws in a kind of late 19th century newspaper illustration style.

Yes, the fantastic draughtsmanship, composition, detail, depth, delight in grotesquerie, and the clever thing they've done with the transparency of the balloon aside, the palette of Trevallion's latest in a long line of cover of the year contenders is a little muted.

Yep! No complaints about the cover from me, it's drokking gorgeous!

That said, I misread the forum topic heading as "Jawas of defeat!"  :o

I really don't know what came over the artist. Making an evening/night scene not look like a garish daytime scene. Whatever next.
