Maybe it is- but they aren't delivering any of my other post late.  And certainly not four days late.

Oddboy

How would you have saved ?1.60 - you surely aren't advocating using newsagents as a library, are you??
Better set your phaser to stun.

Matt Timson

Of course!  I read all of 'Sector House' that way...

All of your post comes from the same place and takes the same route to your local sorting office then, I assume? ;)

Matt Timson

No.  But by and large, none of it arrives four days later than it should either.  My prog never used to be late- now it gets later every week.

Wake

I seem to be stuck in a prog time delay too. I'm getting my weekly on the following Monday, and yet the Extreme Edition came this morning.

Wake

Oddboy

In that case Wake, you're probably wanting this week's prog data-

Not always.

Denise writes:

"Our local sorting office is based in Chelmsford, Essex. It is not unusal for 1st class letters to take up to 3 to 4 days to arrive and 2nd class letters sometimes take up to a week to arrive locally.

This is a situation that has gradually got worse over the last six months or so. All we can hope that,  if enough people complain, maybe this
situation will improve."

So there it is- straight from the horse's mouth.  Apologies for doubting the subs dept when I guess it *is* the fault of some lazy arsed postal workers after all.  Useless slack bastards- sack them all!!!

Still no prog.  BAH!!!

Hmm, I have 4 postmen in my close family....It's not always the fault of the individual....sometimes the system is the problem (and the working practises).  Not always mind...but sometimes.

Matt Timson

I'm only kidding, Wod- my best mate's a postman!  There's something pretty dire going on at a sorting office that takes two weeks to deliver second class post though!

:)

JEB - I don't care - I said they were close family...doesn't mean I like them!
